Summers Moore grew up in the midwest with photography in her background and help from her brother and father. After graduating from the University of Denver with a degree in mass communications, summers moved up to Aspen Colorado. The camera eluded her while she taught skiing for 10 years. Being in such a beautiful valley did not mean the camera was idle. Landscape became very fun. Summers Moore married in 1996. two children later the portrait was vital to her repertoire! Other business opportunities allowed for international travel and thus inspired her to photograph more destinations abroad. Currently Summers' photography and art focuses on equine and portraiture subjects. Summers has found a new medium for her exploration in charcoal and sumi-e ink on a variety of paper mediums.
